I took these cast Badger pistons out of my truck, I put them there approx 15K miles ago brand new. Ther have NOT been cleaned, this is exactly how they came out of the motor. I took pictures from every angle so you could get a good look.
I won't tell you to reuse rings, but you probably could stick these in the hole with the same rings and they'd run fine. The truck didnt burn a drop of oil and ran great with no measurable ridge and the bore still had a clean crosshatch
With a 390 crank, they are .130 below and 8:1 compression, but the beauty of these is that they really were built for a 410, with a 428/410 3.98 stroke crank, they are approx 9.5:1 and perfect a torquey truck.
