Spray liner

Need opinions on this one. I've got a '68 F100 Stepside, 460/C6 combo, no power nothing. Currently working on bringing all mechanicals up to 100%. Paint, body, interior, etc are all on the list for next spring. One of the things I'm considering is having the inside of the cab pro done with a spray liner. I have a friend who owns a '70 Bronco and he had the inside Rhino lined. My first thought is that it would be pretty permanent, which could be a downside. But It's usually not too thick, so I could use the spray liner to gain uber water resistance in the cab, seal all the small holes and cracks, maybe quiet down a few squeaks, etc. I also think I can install all the regular stuff over top of the liner: sound and heat shields, carpet/rubber flooring, etc. I'm only in the idea stage, so I really need your advice.

Anybody else done this?
I know it's permanent, but could I then use heat or sound dampening material over top of the liner? Carpet over that?
Do you think the liners will last without having to be redone? The one in my F250 looks like crap, but it's in the bed of a work truck.

I had the ceiling of my cab rhino-lined and then installed the headliner & speakers.
It no longer sounds like an echo chamber and the cab does not heat up like it did before.
It is pretty much permanent, so be sure before you do it.

I would look into the lizzard skin product. I think it is used on floorboards for all the reasons you are contimpplating the spray liner...although I don't know if is a final finish product like the spray liner is.

I second the lizardskin just sprayed some in my cab and inside my doors. It made a big differnce. It no longer sounds like a tin can!
