york compressor??

Post by whiteford69 »

Hey,
I have a 69 ford f100. My york compressor on my A/C went out. If have been checking the local part stores and LMC truck. I can not find a rebuilt york style compressor or new compressor with a clutch. Does any body know where I could buy a york compressor with a clutch? or if I could reuse the old clutch? or buy a clutch?

None of those compressors have a clutch. The original compressor came with a clutch. That's what is throwing me off. Did ya'll see any with a clutch?

Here's the clutch http://www.npdlink.com/store/index.php? ... r=F-2884-1.

Go here and select the virtual catalog. There are many more parts for the A/C system available from NPD.

Is there a reason that you're not using your existing clutch? Is it bad, too, or do you know?

If you decide to upgrade to a more modular a/c system I would go though this company. Good experience
