Parting out a truck, most parts available, SoCal

Post by Calfdemon »

These parts are in Southern California and I would prefer NOT to ship anything large or heavy. I will be placing these items on Craigslist as well in the near future, but wanted to make the stuff available to my fellow Fordification members first. If someone really really really needs something and I have to ship it, we can probably work it out, but be prepared to have a shipping idea. I dont want to be the one to have to figure out how to ship a 100 pound large bulky body part. This is a California truck and there is no rust other than some surface rust. But everything is solid and no cancer that I have seen.

Wish I could put a better year on the truck, but it's kind of a Frankenbump sale... So here is what I have (from memory). I will post some pictures in the next few days.

Ford 9 inch rear end (drum to drum) - Sold
67 long bed w/ tailgate and lights - $300
68 (might be a 70) standard cab with in-cab gas tank and the rare rear cargo light- Sold
2 sets of doors with windows and internals included - Sold
Pair of 68 fenders - $50
68 radiator support (regular version, not supercooler) - Sold
running NP435 4 speed manual transmission - $150
Upper and lower exterior trim (looks complete and okay condition) - Sold
Auxililary under frame gas tank w/ mounting hardware and protector plate - $50 (tank is rough, but the mounting and plate are really whats for sale. Ill throw the tank in and it might be salvagable)
70 Hood (not for sale yet)

Many, many extra parts like ash trays, glove box doors, arm rests, dash switches, hood hinges, manual steering box, FE exhaust manifolds, front end/steering components, etc..... If there is something you need, ask and I might have it if it came off one of our trucks. The smaller lighter items, I dont have a problem shipping. If I have it, we can talk about a price and shipping at that time. As for the larger items that need to be picked up or hauled away, the parts are off the 5 Freeway in Santa Clarita area near Six Flags Magic Mountain.

Here are a few pics of just some of the stuff I have that I need to get rid of:

Cab pictures: Sold!

NP435 transmission.. Dirty right now, but came out of Caleb's running 67 and works fine:

2 sets of doors with all glass and internals. Black doors are perfect and green doors just have some mirror holes that can be fixed. I can take better pictures if requested: Sold!

Fenders (and lots of other parts scattered around):

Steering box and FE exhaust manifolds:

The bed is solid and perfectly square with no cancer. There are only 2 dented problem areas and both can be fixed. Part of the bump on the passenger side is pushed in, but I have a patch panel from another truck that I will throw in so it can be fixed, and the lower drivers side rear corner has a dent, but again, very fixable by replacing the rear cap. Pictures show what I am talking about:

All 4 sides are perfectly square:

Bed floor is solid with just surface rust patina:

Side walls are good except the 2 dents previously mentioned:

Bed comes with tailgate and working light assemblies.

If any additional pictures are requested of anything, just hit me up and I will go over there and take more pictures.

I was just over at my parts pile looking through some stuff and here is a list of more parts I have off the top of my head. I am not selling anything that is complete crap as if it is falling apart, I will just toss it. This stuff is all in decent working condition and reusable. Again, I will supply pictures as requested and we can talk price if I have something you want:

2 sets of the longer (70-72) sun visors (one black, one white)
67 rear view mirror bracket (no mirror)
multiple sets of retractable stock seatbelts, some with center belt for 3rd person. Multiple sets of green, one set of blue. Might be a tan set too.
67 dash with dummy lights, multiple other F100 - 350 dashes (no F600) from 68-72. Some metal some plastic. Most with full gauges.
Multiple ash trays
Multiple glove box doors, one with locking button (no key) and beautiful condition "Sport Custom" badge
Painted headliner trim sets
Multiple inner door panels, one set uncut, another uncut single panel, some pairs cut for speakers. Some inner door trim (at least 3 full doors worth)

Those are fresh in my head as I just saw them all today. But there is plenty more stuff, so again, if you need something, ask and I might have it. I can't stand the thought of these old parts going to waste and unfortunately due to lack of space, I can't hold on to all of this stuff. So I have to get it out of here.

Calfdemon the tire mount will not work with my crew the way I am going to be running the exhaust. Thanks for checking it out for me, Greg.

Calfdemon,

Interested in one of the complete sets of green retractable seat belts. What condition? Price? Can you ship?

Thanks,
