Clutch pedal return spring

Post by 1970 Hi-Boy »

:help: Does anyone out there in the land of Ford Trucks have a source for a "real" replacement for the clutch pedal return spring? I'm not liking the one LMC sent me, as one can see it's kinda puny, and yes it barely pulls the pedal back and the "feel" is gone. I just would like to order one more similar to what the truck came with, if that's possible.

P/N C8TZ 7A600-B fits 68-72 F100-F350 (5.8" free length - 9-5/8 coils)

Green Sales Company, Cincinnati, Ohio. has 7 -- (513) 294-8385
Parts International, Farmers Branch, Texas, has 4 -- (888) 727-0418
Bob Allen Ford, Overland Park, Kansas, has 4 -- (913) 381-2999
JST Automotive, Lebanon, TN has 2 -- (615) 443-3086

Lots more available, just figured this would be enough to get you going.

My personal preference would be Green Sales. Best pricing, reasonable shipping (probably $8.00) and friendly, knowledgeable customer service.

Why is it that there's seldom time to fix it right the first time, but there's always time to fix it right the second time???

Thank you 70_F100, very, very much, I had hit a wall trying to locate this spring, was ready to search hardware stores and industrial supplies such as Grainger, just to try and find something similar. I will take your recommendation and try contacting Green Sales first. You can't imagine how happy you made me, especially after coming home from working in the woods all day, skidding out logs with the truck, and that messed up clutch pedal, giving me the fits. I will say however the 360 FE took all of the "clutch dumping" even with a full load of Oak. Once again, thank you.
