Just knowing that my head wont fly forward and hit that wheel and dash if I get in a wreck makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. So for safety's sake, I love it.
Yeah, but without headrests your old noggin will fly backwards and hit the back window. That (and the gas tank behind the seat) makes me nervous.
I have head rests and a crew cab, so I am okay with the head snap fear. As far as the in cab gas tank goes... If you get in a bad enough wreck that the in-cab gas tank takes a beating, then you are probably not in much better condition yourself. But yeah, I hear ya on the in tank cab.

Hi Kurt, if you decide to add shoulder harness and you would like to sell the plugs that you have in your holes, please let me know, I just bought 2 from LMC and they are way to small, careful removing them they are brittle. Thank you. Kevin

Kevin, I'll keep you in mind. Not doing anything to vehicles until the weather improves, too cold out there for this guy.

So, for those who have converted to the shoulder harness, do you like it, hate it, so-so, ... ? Just curious; I haven't decided which way to go yet.

Joseph
I've now got three points on both driver and passenger side, along with headrests. First couple of days driving with it felt really odd, but then it became normal like in modern cars. I've been read-ended a couple of times in my life, both times in single cab pickups, and had it not been for the headrests and three points I'd of probably ended up with some neck and face injuries. You never know what the guy behind you is going to do, will they stop, or will they plow into me at 40mph? Better safe than sorry is my thinking.
