I doubt that there are internals in those doors. without the glass there isnt much need for anythin behind the door panel. however, I think the crew cabs did come with armrests in the rear? I thought I read somewhere that they were smaller and also used in econolines... mayybe Im thinking of the 67s...Calfdemon wrote:The one thing that I noticed which I am going to look into, is he put armrests on the rear doors. No, the crew rear doors did not have armrests on them. They had a square plastic part that went around the door handle which worked as a pull... But they are not armrests. These are the same parts that were used from the Econoline vans and are no longer made. I have the stock pair from my crewcab and will probably use them.
I didn't think about the glass not being in those doors... You are right and that is how he got the armrests on the back doors. Good observations. Looks like I will just run the stock door pulls them. Its not as if I will ever ride in the backseat of my truck anyway. If someone wants an armrest, they can roll the window down!

is it the your worried about running the screw in to the glass?? and if so can't you just weld a stud on the door and use a nut to tighten the arm rest to the door?? now I have never seen a crew up close so I'm not see what you are .Calfdemon wrote:No, the crew rear doors did not have armrests on them.
