All photos that are online have an address. The address looks like this:
To get this address, right-click on the photo itself and choose 'Properties' (or in Netscape you can just right-click and choose 'Copy Image Location'. There will be a pop-up window that will give you the address to the image.
If you just copy/paste address, then it'll look like this:
http://www.fordification.com/images/aba ... _small.jpg
The forum software automatically converts the address to a clickable link.
If you want to make the image actually show up in a post, you have to add the [ img] and [ /img] tags (without the spaces) on each end of the address, so that it'll look like this when you're typing it:
...but will look like this once you post the message:
Code: Select all

That still doesn't explain how to add photos fr ones own computer if they're not posted online anywhere. Is it even possible to post w/o a URL address?FORDification wrote:All photos that are online have an address. The address looks like this:

Re: Photo's within post
The easiest way to get photos in the posts is to just go to http://www.photobucket.com and get a free account and upload all of your photos there. Then when you click on one of the photos in your library on photobucket, it will give you 4 different types of address links for it. Use the bottom one (4th link down) and just copy it, then come to your Fordification post and paste that link in your message. Magic, your picture will always appear in your post as long as you dont move it on your photobucket account.
It sounds a lot more confusing than it is, but go over to Photobucket and you will see what I am talking about. It really is easy to do.
