my 3-speed C6, upon acceleration from a stop, shifts from 1st to 3rd in just a matter of seconds. F fluid is at the proper level. Does not matter the temp...cold or hot.

Need more info. Are you saying that it is skipping 2nd & shifting 1st to 3rd.........or are you getting all 3 gears , just too early..?
1 2 3 under lite throttle is called stacking the shifts.............how does it do on hard acceleration? What engine? year? rear end ratio? tire size?
In order to give you a better answer than a WAG, can you supply the info........ I can start out in 1st and be in 3rd at 50 mph in 5 seconds........which is normal for a WOT start..........see my point, Donnie
