For some reason I can't get the forum to work with my iPhone anymore? Had someone pm me about what I did to make the shifter work. So I took a few pics of my hack job. May buy an aftermarket one and do a little nicer job later. But this should do for now.

Cut the linkage and flipped the pivot points 180 , so that it sits on the drivers side when facing forward.
Image

Chopped the long rod off that bolts to the trans and cut out a long section. Then rewelded the end back on to hold the shifter.
Image

Finally, I hacked off the flat piece that the square bushing slides onto and welded it to the front, to be able to bolt it to the trans hump.
Image

Hope that helps!

I'm closing in on finally starting this pile. I just ordered the control pack for the 3V. Hoping to hear it run over Memorial Day weekend when I get a little time to work on it.

Dude, that looks awesome!! Sure looks like your daughter approves! Two Q's - what radiator, and what booster/master combo are you using - Keep it up!

Tyler-

Both are eBay specials. The radiator is a champion, they seem to have decent reviews. Pretty good price for radiator/ fans combo. It looks really nice, time will tell on the quality. The booster is MBM (?) It came with firewall brackets and a disc proportioning valve. Looks to be a corvette style master. It also looks good, just hope it lasts. :)

Heirloom-

Thanks

Funny looks like my garage but a whole lot neater. My 67 shelby clone is up on the rotisserie next to the f-100 oh and there is a 48 f-1 4x4 stuffed between them.

Anyhow drive shaft looks great what I had planned to do if I didnt go t-45. Would you know how long it is? I thinking one out of a police crown vic might fit but maybe an inch short.
