Radio Controlled

Post by Bama Boy »

I am thinking about putting a headliner in my 68 from NPD. It is made for installing a new radio overhead with speakers for each passenger. Has anyone else done this yet? If so, how did it work out?

I just ordered one. It gets delivered on Monday, and it will probably get installed over President's Day weekend. I'll let you know how it goes.

I still have the speaker setup from JCW that I have intended to install the last two times I was home. I am going to try it again next week while I am home and will let you know how it goes or doesn't go.

(This one's on a later truck, but it's basically the same thing.) Anyway, there was a discussion on these a while back in these threads:

Yes that's the one. I tried to order it from JCW last year but was told they wernt making them anymore. So I called their distributor and he confirmed it. Thanks. I missed the discussion earlier due to being a new b.

My braincells may be misfiring again but I think I just saw that advertised in the new LMC catalogue for 2006. It's called a Highliner.

Yes, that's the Highliner, and it's still available from LMC. Check out the following link:
