i'm starting to plan this, thinking about the 'remote reservoir' style one i have on my escort, mounted vertical on the firewall, using the stock linkage and vertical rod.

Re: how to mod clutch pedal for 5 speed?
Nope i have already done it. Busy day but i had time to post this quick.
This is the piece that i modified. It is the original piece that the clutch linkage hooked too, notice the bearings that i installed to replace the plastic bushings. While your modifying the clutch i would recommend doing this or atleast replacing the original bushings.
This is how the piece looked after my modifications. I just used one of the ends of the clutch rod.
And this is how that piece looked before modification in relation to the slave cylinder.
Ill try and find a pic of the finished product, but i moved into college so a lil hectic today. Any other questions let me know.

Thank you. That's very interesting. The piece of clutch rod you used, You bent it about 90' degrees? how long or how much of the clutch rod did you use? you have a pic of the clutch master beside the brake master?

Ya give or take…i think i used about half of it. I just cut it and then bent it till it looked right and welded it up. I don't have a pic on my computer but i can take one over thanksgiving break for you.timmytim wrote:Thank you. That's very interesting.
