I have a C6 Auto trans off the back of a 360 FE motor. The motor is sold. I was driving the truck with this engine/trans up until yesterday (10/4) when I pulled it out for a swap. Trans pulled strong, towed a car trailer a couple times and shifts all gears (75mph on the interstate commuting to work). Asking $125. It's in Charlotte, NC.
Thanks,
Matt

Re: C6 transmission
I have a 69. Does the cab i have need a high trans hump for a c6 to be mounted on 360. I just might be interested if i can use low hump. Right now i have 3 on tree.

Re: C6 transmission
I've researched this quite extensively. Everything I've read says that you can install a C6 in a truck with a low hump transmission tunnel, it'll just be close. If you have a removable cover, it's recommended to use it but not required.

Re: C6 transmission
As Sargentrs said, it's not required, but it's a good idea. The C6 will fit with the flat floor, but it's really, really close to touching. I'd recommend adding the removable hump (the floor will already be stamped with the relief for where to cut/drill) to allow airflow of the top of the transmission for cooling purposes.
