Driveline on a shortbed.

Post by Aesop »

I have a 67 f250 highboy 4x4 that I am swapping in a 460, and I have a zf5 with a married transfer case. I am nearly done with the short bed floor replacement, and will shorten the frame very soon.
Should I use a carrier bearing or a solid driveline?

When I put a 428 in my '69 with a 4 speed toploader from a Mustang . . . I went one piece driveshaft. No problem as att, it was the right choice.

It sounds a lot easier than a 2 piece drive shaft. I can pick up a 2wd shaft and have it shortened.
