Door tag axle code needed
Found a 70 to 72 f100 in a junkyard that I would like to get the rear end out of it for my 66,it has a axle code of what looks to be 17 on the data tag so is there anyone with a shop manual who can get me the ratio for that code. It was too wet to crawl under it to look at that tag and might be time for me to get shop manuals for those years.

Axle codes are down toward the bottom of the page. Looks like 17 is a 3.25 ratio. http://www.fordification.com/tech/VIN70.htm
