C8TZ-16003-A 1 1/2" Fender Moulding - Used

Post by 68RGR »

Looking for one or two with no dents or holes drilled in them. (I have some like that if you need them!)

For my un-restored truck that would look odd with new mouldings on the front fenders and old ones on the doors, bed, etc.

I may have other parts to trade. Just ask.

Thanks,

Bill

Hey Bill,
These moldings would be the older thinner ones right? I have a front passenger side fender set if it is.

A,

There are three widths in the 67 to 72 range.

67 and early 68 used upper body side trim that was 1 1/4 inches wide.

Later 68 and all of 69 used the trim I am looking for - 1 1/2 inches wide. BUT WAIT, there's more . . .

Not wanting to make things easy for body and parts men, Ford continued to use the 1 1/2 inch trim on later models PROVIDED they were not Rangers/XLT. On the 70 to 72 Ranger/XLT the trim was a whopping 3 5/8 inches wide.

So, I guess you could say I need the middle width - 1 1/2 inches wide. It was used on 68 to 72 trucks depending on the mfg date and the trim level.

Please let me know what you have.

Hey, so I do have both the front fender drivers side 1 1/2" and 1 1/4" molding. There not in very good shape. The 1 1/2 is bowed and has a small dent in it.
Sorry
