Bench seat from '95 F150 XLT

Post by skblixt96 »

This seat right here http://www.fordification.com/images/sea ... 20blue.JPG looks exactly like what I want for my '72. Anyone know if it's been installed in a bump? I'm just trying to get an idea how well it fits, height, etc. Worst case I could just measure one up at a salvage yard. Thanks in advance for any help.

Is your seat also a power seat? That could make things more complicated. As you may know, the seat will bolt right up to your bench seat track. Have you checked out the factory seat tech article?

It looks just like the one I put in my bump, but mine came out of the back of a 1994 crewcab. Mine sits about an inch or so higher - maybe due to newer padding - but that just gives a little more legroom as long as you still have headroom.
67 F-100 Flareside, 300, Offenhauser 360, Holley 390, Duraspark and MSD ignition, NP-435 4-speed, 3.55 Dana 60, and it will absolutely roast 30" rear tires taking off in 2nd (the one time I tried scared the Bejeezus out of me)

Next engine mod: RV cam (252*)

looks like the seat I put in my 67 all I had to do was use the 67 seat tracks and drill out the holes of the bolts on the seat as I remember

night and day difference for seating comfort

I have the same seat for my 70. I have pulled it out for now, doing a full frame off, but as Derbydad said use the stock seat brackets and it is a bolt in job. I really like how it sets and looks in the truck.

What do you do with the back of the seats and the in cab tank? Didn't look like there was enough room without having the seat push all the way forward?
