Truck FMX transmission to ?????

I have a 1975 f150 with an 302/FMX trans. Tail housing crossmember mounting bolt holes are stripped out and there is little to no aftermarket support, so now what? Is the c-4 a bolt in swap? Same mounting holes, drive shaft length and yoke, etc? I am tempted to order an adapter from Advance Adapters and put in a turbo 350. I'm a Chevy guy, so this almost makes the most economical sense and durability I think would be better, not to mention aftermarket support.
