By the way, to close the loop on this one, these can be found at Marti and a few other places. You can search for them online as Wittek hose clamps or tower hose clamps. Wittek is no longer in business but there are various replicas available. There are between 10 and 14 of these on our trucks depending on year model. For the 5/8 heater hoses the original ones from my truck are 1 1/16" size. They are stamped Wittek Mfg Co Chicago IL, the size and the date code (1/71).

Some models used Corbin wire (not sheet metal) hose clamps on the heater hoses. In the galleries of Fordification there is an original blue 1971 F100 where you can see where the clamps were for that year. FYI the two clamps and the rubber hose between the water pump and motor were painted engine color from the factory!
