Thanks td! Everybody told me not to lower it, but I just couldn't help it and I love it!

those trucks all looks great, but please can someone confirm how much they remove from the front coils when they do a half flip on the rear holder please. Another question i have is what is the best tire combination and the best offset for the rear tires. thanks.

You cant cut more than 1 whole round off the front coils without running into real negative camber issues and 1 coil would match the half flip well

Finally able to post in this thread! Here's mine with DJM dream beams with a coil cut, and a full hanger flip with the helper spring removed. I still need to get the right size tires.

That's a nice set up. How much did you lower your truck?

Mind if I ask what size tires you have now? And what size tires you are getting? Why don't the ones on there now fit correctly?

Trying to learn what I need before I drop my truck.

Thanks,

Dream Beams with a coil cut on old springs in front. Hanger flip and longer shackles with overload spring removed and 6* shim added in rear.

It's got a little rake, and a little more negative camber than I really want. Probably add some new front springs to even the rake and take out the negative camber eventually, but I'll run her like this for now.

I wonder if a half a coil would help that? The truck sits nice, that is what I am looking for in the spring. How close is the rear to the snubber or frame? Any issues with bottoming out at all?

I'm actually pretty good with it now. I let a friend drive it down the street, and the camber looks fine as he drives by. Seems that how much you want to trim depends on age, mileage, and conditions the springs were used in over the years. Mine were already sagging a bit before I cut one round off.
I trimmed some off of all my bumpstops, probably wasn't necessary but gave me extra clearance for some big potholes. I haven't bottomed it out yet, and don't think it will. Unless I haul something pretty heavy in the bed...... which I don't plan on, my truck is retired!
