The problem with exhaust manifolds is that they tend to leak, get rusty, and then don't hold a decent seal. On top of that, the bolts seize and you end up breaking them trying to resolve the problem. I have a pair that I pulled off my old exhaust-leaky 360 that I judged too rough to seal properly, so I bought new ones at LMC. I'd recommend pursuing that over trying to come up with a decent set of used ones. I judged it to be less painful overall to buy new.

Either that or headers, that come with their own challenges.

Cheers,
Duane

I keep manifolds on all my trucks. you can find a set not cracked, get them decked smooth on the mating surface and use stainless or grade 8 bolts with a high grade anti-sieze and not have any problems. I got tired of the header leaks and not being able to change my starter out without lifting the motor out. But that was just the headers I happened to have other may be a better fit.I havent purchased a new reproduction yet so I have no idea how they compare to the og's. btw where are you located for shipping purposes?

I have a pair of FE exhaust manifolds sitting in my garage that I do not need. You are welcome to them (or 1) for the cost of shipping and whatever you think my time is worth  . They are heavy, so I would try and find what you are looking for local to save you the shipping costs, but if you cannot find one, let me know and I am more than willing to send this out to you. I can send you pictures if you need them. Just let me know. I have no use for these but keep everything for this exact reason.

I will get a picture of the passenger side manifold for you tomorrow and then see what it will cost to ship out to you this weekend. I have no idea at this point, so I will have to box it up and take it over to UPS or FedEx for a quote. Go ahead and PM me your full name and address so I can get an accurate quote for you...
