Wow, thanks guys for the kind words! I do appreciate it. And thanks for still caring about a project that has gone way past what I thought it would. Last Thursday was the 4-year mark, holy crap! Oh well, I still enjoy any moment I get to work on it, and that's what it's all about anyway, right?

Wood working is my passion, and I must say the bed is beautiful.
Great work all the way around.

Hey Tyler, Did you have the new bed cross members made different than factory dimensions to accommodate the wood bed instead of steel? I like your idea of wood bed in these trucks.

Hey! Yes, the new cross members were designed with a lower profile to compensate for the thickness of the wood, and also the return flanges on the cross members are much wider to provide a secure mounting surface, as well as a bolt location for the hold-down strips. Thanks for asking!Bigfreeb wrote:Hey Tyler, Did you have the new bed cross members made different than factory dimensions to accommodate the wood bed instead of steel? That thing is awesome...
Is it still a work in progress or is it "finished"
