Oregon wheelin
Anyone in the Oregon/ Washington area wanna do some wheelin this winter? I'm looking for people to go with. Nothing to crazy just some muddin and snow wheelin.
Honestly, I really would rather push a Ford than drive a Chevy.

Did you ever go? Where? If I get mine back together, I may be interested this winter (14/15) I'm in The Dalles.
Due to the high cost of ammunition, you can no longer expect a warning shot.
When someone was beating on my door hollering "Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms", I naturally assumed it was a delivery.

Never went anywhere. Folks just bought a place out by the Dallas on the other side of the river though, may be up there in the coming weekends helping them move.

If your folks are in Dallesport, there is a road (The Dalles Mountain Road) a half a mile or so east of the junction of Wa 14 and 197. When the weather is bad it can be a challenge. Once you get over the top, that whole area is crisscrossed with roads that are "Not maintained in Winter". Relative short runs (1/2 mile), but I've backed out of several, and been puckered tight before I got out of others. Mud. Lots of places where you can slide off into a small drainage. No big cliffs. Best done as a team, so you have help.
