Search function

Post by flyboy2610 »

I was wondering, with the new board upgrade, if the search function (located in the quick links area in the upper left) was working any better. I typed in a query and it brought up several pages of results. I attempted to go to page 2 of the results, and got the message "Sorry, but you cannot use search at this time. Please try again in 111 seconds." I kept refreshing the page and the time gradually wound down to zero, at which time page 2 of my search came up.

Yep that sounds like flow control, which is a good thing. (2min?)

I'm surprised refreshing the page did not reset the time though...

Yah, I guess I'm not the only one. Additionally, when I do a search, then go to the 2nd page of the search results, I get the same issue as described above. My workaround has been to go to Google and do a search including "fordification.com" + my desired topic/keyword. Seems to work ok.
