Help

Post by 67F100JMA »

I have a 67 with a c6 transmission, the gear shift rod comes with an adjustment stud and the stud bolts on to the shifter with a nut. From what I understand there is a small plastic sleeve In between the nut and the stud. Mine is missing it and has play when shifting. Where can I find that sleeve, or what ever the name of that thing is, of if anybody has one I can buy it from you, thanks

I think what you want is a bushing .
If you can't find something from Dennis Carpenter , maybe look into a bronze door pin bushing .
(It doesn't have to be plastic)

Otherwise look in a good hardware store.
