Sacramento Valley 2014 Meet and Greets
I am starting a thread to gage interest in some meet and greets in the Sacramento area and/or further north at a location more accessible to folks in the northern part of the valley or the foothills. As far as around Sacramento we could meet for a coffee or breakfast at a central location and talk about other events we might want to attend.
As far as the Sacramento Valley, Mancar1 suggested meeting at Granzella's at Williams which is about one hour north of Sacramento. Williams is also on Hwy 20 which connects Clear Lake and Yuba City. I am open to other suggestions but just thought I would get the discussion started.
I am going to start another thread for the San Joaquin Valley.

I might be interested in meeting in Williams, about an hour and a half from my house. I would not be driving my F-250, it gets 10 miles to the gallon and my Kia get 28, so the Optima wins on trips.

I would be interested. I would make the three hr drive from Santa Cruz to Sac in the bump but I may opt out for a further drive. Just raising my hand.

Maybe I should expand this thread to northern California and see where we get a critical mass. We have three possibly for Williams and we might get others to drive an hour north from Sacramento. On another thread I suggested Manteca which would be better for south bay folks or we could even do Los Banos if there is interest from Fresno to Bakersfield.
Any other ideas?

possible that we could have a BBQ here at my ranch just west of Placerville.

Id be up for a meet n greet of the bumps.
Id be coming from San Jose in the 69 f250, so maybe 2hrs and 30$ in fuel to Sactown.

I'm in the SF Bay Area. Just bought a 1970 F250. Drove it home 2 and 1/2 hours from Colfax, so I'm sure I could head back up to Sac to meet some folks, get some pointers. (know that when you see me, I may already have removed my 1970 grill for a 69'.

Well guys, here it is 2015 and the weather is great in Northern California and gas is still relatively cheap. Lets get this thread going and come up with a meeting place. Tons of places around here to meet.

Well, halfway btwn Sacto and San Jo is Vallejo, Richmond along the bay and more inland (and better weather) is Concord/Walnut Creek/Martinez.
I'm in if it happens... Martinez has a pretty cool marina with large parking lots and restaurants nearby. It's low-key and perfect for weekend get-togethers since the government buildings are closed on weekends.
Whaddya say?
