Kick down rod adjustment
I have a 1982 302 with the AOD transmission and a Holley 4 barrel. How do you adjust the kick down rod? How much movement is required on the transmission lever to be effective? Does the kick down rod travel an equal distance with the accelerator pedal? With a kick down rod, how is the 30-35 pound adjustment made? My kick down lever is missing can someone include a picture of there set-up so that I can see the length of the lever or better yet, give me dimensions? Thank you very much.
