rearend
im workin on a freinds 05 crown vic right rear axel bearing and seal.but wen i put the axel back in it wont go in far enuf to put the c cip on. im thinkin someone changed out rearend. tag #V044R cant find nothin.

sorry thought this was a ford #s id site.this first time postin anything anywhere.i found the problem.but i wld still like to know what rearend this is.for futur work.if anyone cld point in the rite direction wld b geat.thx

Actually we do have CV axle tags on http://www.fordification.com/tech/rearends_ford16.htm , just not that one.
