Yessir I have been, im gunna wait to see how it all goes before makin a official thread LOL! :lol: but if all goes well I'll write up a full detailed thread on how I do it and what I use :thup:

Somewhere a while back I had seen a dentside truck, same frame width as our trucks, and they had put superduty axles under it and if i recall, they made new leaf spring hangers that were moved out to the side of the frame, rather than directly under the frame. Similar to how the springs are mounted in the rear. It really looked fairly straight forward, as long as you were able to fab up new hangers. It also had crossover steering so that wasn't an issue. I had considered doing this myself had i not lucked out and found my 79. As far as width from wms to wms I couldn't tell you. The 79 axle is considerable wider than the 44 that I removed
