Don't worry, still working on the truck. Doors are off, and the interior is gutted. Other than actually painting the truck now, the only thing left to do is setup a makeshift paint booth in the garage. I have the lighting, just need to hang them and run the wires. The waiting is just driving me insane!





I took a few laps around the yard in the truck. You don't realize how much the seat actually acts as the suspension until you don't have one.

Been out for a bit just checking back in. Dash looks good. Were there any bumpsides that did not have a dash pad??? Either way looks good smoothed out. Will look great with paint!!!

Holy crapola, I am extremely overdue for an update! Sorry to leave you guys hanging if anyone was still interested in my build. The 68 has been my daily driver since September, and I am satisfied with the way it turned out. I'll look back and find some pics from the painting process, but here she is!











And this is in front of my great grandpa's farm where we rescued her from in 2009! I need to go back and get pictures by the barn, and the lighting wasn't right in this picture anyway

She still needs the little things like rims and tires, but that will all happen in due time. Sadly, it's almost time to put her away for winter, so now I really need to get my bronco back on the road!

Thank you! I've gotten quite a few compliments on it, and I really enjoy being the only person in town who daily drives one of these old fords.

Thanks! It was a great experience painting my first vehicle with my grandpa as my mentor. Now I'm almost ready to paint my 79 bronco which is going to be my winter truck again. I got sick of rusted out camo, so it was time for a paint job.

The grille will be coming out over winter at some point to get repainted since it has some surface rust now on some of the silver. I'll be keeping the same paint scheme of course!

Looks great!! Feels good to be painted and driving it don't it? Like the way that grille is done. Looks like a ranger grille. NOW don't damage that new paint
