Speedometer drive gear colors
My speedometer is 7 mph slow so I'm getting ready to change out the driven (cable side) gear and need to know how to id the gear in the transmission so I can figure how many teeth I need. I have searched with no success trying to find out what color equals how many teeth it has. Running a 1968 T18 with a 3.25 rear and 31-10.5 tires..........

Re: Speedometer drive gear colors
Thanks! I ended up calling Dennis Carpenter (that's where I'm getting the gear) and got talked to a guy with 40 years experience building hot rods and he guided me in the right direction - just gotta get under the truck and figure out what gear I have now......
