Lift
Hey everyone, I'm a bit new and I need some advise on these old dent sides. So I have a 69 f250 4x4 and it's going to be my daily and off-road toy. I'm trying to decide which setup to go with. Either a 2 inch lift with 35s or 4 inch with 37s. Does anyone have pictures or words of wisdom?

Re: Lift
You shouldn't need a lift to run 35's. I had 35-14.5-16 on mine. It was really close but it would clear.
I've got 35-12.5-16 on it now. I've got the front sheet metal off it now but it should clear better than it did before.

Re: Lift
Ya they will fit but not with a ton of room. Easiest way would be to get the skyjacker 4" springs. Though I just put mine in and would say it only lifted it 3 inches or so in the front and an inch in the rear. But that will clear 35s perfectly. A body lift is also an option. I'm doing both

Re: Lift
Mike, I also have a Skyjacker suspension that I bought at 4WheelOnline. I've been using their 3-inch system but for my Yukon.

Advice?
Leave it the heck alone! These Highboy trucks will run a nice tall 33" tire with no sweat, and you don't need any more than that. There is no performance gain to speak of by going higher. 90% of what one of these trucks is good for, it will do just great at stock height. And more value is retained.

Re: Lift
, in my older age i've come to agree with this kind of statement. but if you need to get the big tires kick out of your system then you gotta do what you gotta do. With my 72' I was able to bolt on 9.00xr16s with no sweat. no alterations needed. but ended back with the 33 size tire.idaho_cowboy wrote:Advice?

Re: Lift
Do you guys have pictures of your trucks? I'm thinking of going 33, mine is stock suspension with basically a 31 inch tire.
