Selling this one cheap. Price I will negotiate. I'm losing on this one, I just need it gone.

Re: 1967 Grille complete and polished
You can always try and duplicate what I do. Find a complete grille, strip it then take all dents and dings out. Now polish it to a mirror shine. That's the grille and headlight bezels. Now blast the headlight buckets and re-paint. Add new hardware where needed, ie: headlight adjusters, and plastic nuts. Put new lenses and gaskets plus bulbs in the turn signal housings. Make sure everything fits like it should.Busboy wrote:I don't call that cheap friend.
Add up what it cost you to do. (Hours, material plus shop) Now how much have you spent?
I've been doing this for thirteen years, specializing in aluminum. I run a shop where we do polishing and chroming. What does your shop do? Do you run a shop that does not charge for labor, talent and know how? If your my competition, lets see what you got.
I supply the grille, I do the labor, I assemble the grille. And you?

Man you're cranky as hell. The point is that 1,000.00 can't be called "cheap". Your stuff is obviously excellent quality but you're marketing it to working class stiffs that mostly won't ever be able to spend that kind of money on something related to a hobby. Take it easy old man. Quit your

Re: 1967 Grille complete and polished
Then why did you place a bid? A ridiculous bid at that. My grilles sell for $1000.00 to $1500.00 on ebay. I've sold over 500 grilles.Busboy wrote:Man you're cranky as hell. My grilles aren't for the cheapskates such as yourself. My grilles are top quality for nice trucks. Obviously you cant afford something nice so why insult me? Don't reply to my post or my add if your only intention is to show your ignorance. As for your offer, LMAO, ROFLMAO

Pap always said you're either selling stuff or having it 'for sale'. If it ain't selling the price is too high or the demand too low.
How much does it cost each time a BIN 'auction' ends without selling on eBay anymore? Back in the day, the cost of failed auctions took the profit out of selling there.

Re: 1967 Grille complete and polished
It doesn't cost me anything. Free insertion, free listing and free photos. I only pay when it sells. Being a good seller has it's perks. Most of the time if an item doesn't sell during the listing auction, I get calls from people wanting to buy it or come and pick it up. I'll definitely sell offline due to ebay fees when an item sells.Ranchero50 wrote:Pap always said you're either selling stuff or having it 'for sale'. All is well here. I’ve been working on the house a bit. Looking forward to get back to my trucks soon.chicof100 wrote:Thanks Bobby, I've had a couple of calls on it, so first one here gets it.BobbyFord wrote:Great looking grille, Robert!
