Clutch ID
This was attached to be pre 1965 FE390 that I believe came out of a Thunderbird. This clutch & flywheel was quite different than the one my 3 speed. Anyone know what transmission this was made for?

Re: Clutch ID
Looks like typical diaphragm style car clutch and flywheel, diaphragm used a marcel spring between the clutch disc halfs and the diaphragm.
Trucks may have used a 'heavy duty' Long-type three finger clutch/pressure plate. IIRC the clutch disc is solid and the pressure plate uses coil springs to apply clamp load to the clutch. It makes for a heavy clutch pedal.
If you can convert from the Long three finger type to a diaphragm type, it would make it easier on you and your truck to drive. Modulation of the clutch makes for less wear, better/smoother shifts and reduces wear on the driver as well as the equipment.
