Definitely enjoying your fab work here. Anything else to report?

Thanks! I hope to report driving it soon; it’s real close. Just need to put the bed on and wire the taillights.Manny wrote:Definitely enjoying your fab work here. Anything else to report?

I am interested in hearing yours and other's take on the exhaust exiting where is does, in front of the rear axle. I have considered doing the same, but have heard and read some negatives on it. Mainly dirtying up the undercarriage and blowing dirt/dust from road surfaces. I am really interested in doing my exhaust this way, especially after seeing it done on a 56 F100.

Lowell,
I have had turn down exhaust on all my hot rods for 20+ years. I haven’t noticed any negatives, but it is louder and drones more.
Today I put the bed back on. I also torqued down all the suspension, set the preload on the Cal-tracs and did a quick home alignment with my Longacre kit.
