Thank you for posting this Crazyhorse as the PC world has forgotten the sacrifices made to ensure our freedom. I'm 3rd generation DD-214 Veteran and my Niece makes the 4th generation having served in the USMC.
My Grandfather was one of the lucky ones to land on Omaha Beach in the 110th US Army infantry, (his regiment would be responsible for winning the Battle of the Bulge-the deciding battle of the war).
My nearest neighbor to me here is a 99 year YOUNG USN WWII Veteran who is another example of the sacrifices made from "THE GREATEST GENERATION".

SOLD-71 F-350 dually flatbed, 302 / .030 over V-8 with a "baby"C-6, B & M truckshifter, Dana70/4.11 ratio, intermittent wipers, tilt steering, full LED lighting on the flat bed, and no stereo yet (this way I can hear the rattles to diagnose)! SOLD!
