Why isn't there a add "hyperlink" option on the forum, I've never seen a forum without that option??

Yes I know how to do that but that's actually not a hyperlink. Hyperlinks can be added to pictures or words without showing the address.

I've never seen this type of forum tool bar, wasn't sure if it just wasn't turned on in the forum settings or something(?)

You just use tags, the URL tag button gives you the method if you hover on it.

If you want to make text a hyper link, the put = and the url after url but before the first bracket and the text between the tags. So for instance if you use the following replacing the { with the appropriate bracket [ you will get the following results:

{url}www.rangerXLT.com{/url}

http://www.rangerXLT.com

{url=www.rangerXLT.com}my truck{/url}
