How did you get that top bolt off? Any tricks?Ohiotinkerer wrote:Put my Remflex exhaust gaskets in hoping to solve the persistent leak i have on the passenger side.....the thin Fel Pro gaskets i put in lasted 2000 miles - hopefully from what I've read and advice from here that will solve it once and for all......... ..............then went to start it to check everything and was reminded that I needed to get a new starter....... .........discovered how much fun it was to get the top bolt out but once I got it out i found that the starter and the solenoid to starter cable are the originals.......off to NAPA for a rebuild instead of a junk aftermarket starter.........

2X on the road salt . Just scored a '93 bench in a lovely shade of blue, in great shape too
The old one has a pretty nice bench with the vinyl in good condition but the seat back is broken. If someone wants it on the cheap shoot me a pm Going to upgrade the seat belts to modern style while it's apart too. You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

I think you're going to like that. I just put one from a 92 with the arm rest and adjustable headrest in my 68. Yours is in better shape than my 92 seat, but it's still a nice improvement.nooptions69 wrote:2X on the road salt . Re: What did you do to YOUR bump today?
I was hoping to find one set up like yours but couldn't pass on this one. Except for some stains it's as nice as it gets, the price was right and I'm covering it anyway so the stains don't matter. Think I will try to source a "sit on the seat" type console/cup holder to use when I need it if they make such a thing, never looked.

Finally got the engine started and verified I got the torque converter back in correctly. New power steering working like a champ, turned the truck around and now to start on the interior and new wiring.

I've been using these for years. A little expensive but well made. Sits just right for an elbow prop.nooptions69 wrote:Think I will try to source a "sit on the seat" type console/cup holder to use when I need it if they make such a thing, never looked.
