Was digging in my boxes of parts for some bolts and pulled out the fuel pump i took off when I got the truck to get a look at it since it only had 81,000 original miles and still had ALOT of the original parts it was built with. Did some researching and it's an AC Delco 41057 fuel pump which is throwing me off since I thought Ford used Carter pumps and the filter cover on this one is painted Ford blue. I found a few NOS ones for sale and on all of them the cover was anodized gold or silver. Is it possible this is the original pump it was built with in 1968?

Re: Original fuel pump?
That's an aftermarket pump. It must have been replaced at some point. I sold bunches of them when I was in the parts business.
