Great to see you are still making good progress! Let us know what you decide on the FE. I think it's a great engine, and you will love the T-18.

It has been a crazy couple of months! The wife and I welcomed our first born in March during the start of the "pandemic". Thankful that work has been busy as I guess I am deemed an esssential employee. What a time to be alive!!!! :yt: All I wanna do is work on my bump! Anyways I have been doing some work near the fresh air intake of of the cab and I am looking to replace a panel but both of mine are rusted away so I don't know where they end. Any help? See attached photos.

Congratulations on your addition to the family!
Here is a youtube from RIPbiker13 on repairing the kick panels, maybe this will be helpful.

The more panels I take off the more I realize I need to replace! I was able to remove the passenger side floor pan support today and exposed what was left of the kick panel, not much. I went back to the drivers side and started work on making a template for a patch panel. It took awhile but I was able to get it to where I wanted it and went to cut it out but realized I didn't have enough of the right sheet metal  I proceeded to finish gutting the rest of the cab. Underneath the dash pad is nothing but shiny red paint :D The remaining wire harness, wipers and heater controls were the last to go. Nothing left to take off which means nowhere but up to go from here. I finished off the day by temporarily putting in the F500 instrument cluster I bought. I loved the red and white! A real win to end the day!

Got some time the other night to knock out some more cab repair. I cut out a piece to replace the kick panel on the drivers side and started tacking it in. I am waiting on the front cab pillars from Tabco (Part # 60043) before I fully install. So I moved over to the passenger side firewall and started hacking away. Definitely going to be looking a some sort of wheel well liner to prevent this same kind of rust again.
