I have owned this truck since 1984, I have always used the factory wheel but I think I would like a smaller diameter and maybe shallower wheel (closer to the dash)
I don't want to go too small, and would like to stay period correct, what are you guys using? This is a 71 standard shift column, power steering/4x4
Pics would be cool if you have them

Re: Aftermarket steering wheels
I’m interested in this too. Stylistically I think a wheel like this would look good. This is in my Uncle & Cousin’s 68 Corvette
Not sure of the size. I am pretty sure it’s a Grant, so I’m guessing there is an adapter they make that would make it fit our trucks.
Edit: Upon further research it looks like it’s probably a Grant 794, which is... a Corvette steering wheel

Re: Aftermarket steering wheels
I put the Grant ‘Challenger 870’ wheel in my ‘67.
Its a 14” wheel with a shallower dish. I like it in my truck much better than the stock one.

Re: Aftermarket steering wheels
That's pretty similar to the 15" Grant wheel that I put in my F-100.sparky72 wrote:I’m interested in this too. Stylistically I think a wheel like this would look good. This is in my Uncle & Cousin’s 68 Corvette

This pic kinda shows how it sits in relation to the 92 F-150 Bench seat I've got installed, don't know if it'll help any.

This looks nice, it is classic and the same time it doesn't look thick.sparky72 wrote:I’m interested in this too. Stylistically I think a wheel like this would look good. This is in my Uncle & Cousin’s 68 Corvette

Re: Aftermarket steering wheels
I've always wanted to put a "Shelby" wheel on mine...
