Hi
Im looking after two front brake drums to replace the almost gone old ones. I found several stores to buy from but some of them ask me the series number (F10ARB61479) so far I understand the correlative number is the 61479. Another one ask me if my pick up comes without 3500 lb front GAWR (I don't know where to find that Info) . Some other store told me to look after the series before or after 260.000. Another one told me if the series are before or after 872,001. well my question is are the series in my pick up wrong because is a 1967 but the correlative number doesn't even reach the 1964 f100 model. so I'm feeling little bit lost here.
Kind regards

If you have the luxury of driving something else , I'd take a drum off and match it up.
A good parts store can order the choices and send back what's not needed.

Check RockAuto.com. Their drums have specs listed that you can match up to what yiu have.

Re: 1967 f100 front brake spare parts and serial numbers
I'm no expert on 67's but from what i can find the pertinent issues are F100, 4x2.
It looks as if they are 11x2 and fit 65-67.
3500 sounds like a F250/350 number, not F100...
I agree with measuring them... but using proper filtering i think there is only one choice.

Hi.
After some time Im back trying to catch up with my project, thanks to covid i have a year long delay. I want to thank CEP72, duckryder, SBR_Guy (i did PM to you thank you) and Sargetrs (I did check Rockauto.com). Well im still looking for the front brake drums, so far i was able to find some, and for some reason i dont feel confident to get them. And my main issue is that Im living in the UK and my pick up truck aint with me, and travel is not an option yet. so i need to be 100% of the parts I get. so far with success. i left my pickup 100% functional but it needs the brake drums (front) I alredy got the rear ones. Also I will be needing the both front spindles and hubs. But one step at a time. I found this ones https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.ph ... 44&jsn=460 but according to the picture they seem to be a little bit to high. the durago ones looks like they have the accurate Height. So i have some options but need to be sure about them. Thank you for all your coments and help
kind regards
paul

If you are also looking at having to replace spindles, it might be worth your time to seek out a 73-79 donor truck (probably MUCH harder to find in the UK of course) and do a disk brake conversion. Perhaps you can find someone with a 73-79 who's changing out their entire front end for a Crown Vic (popular swap in the US) or a Jaguar (I'm guessing more readily available there than in the US) and buy the parts they are pulling.
