I just need to finish the inner cab corners, but the rust is removed for now. I'm guessing it will hold together for another 50 years. The drivers door has some and the rear bed under the tail light, but that is part of the patina! I'm saving those to remind myself how enjoyable rust repairs are and stay off ebay! LOL

Same for drivers side. Seam sealed inner welds and sprayed some weld through primer.

Getting busy now that its summer here in Wisconsin. It is so damn short you better do a few things or its back to winter before you know it. I got the inner cab corner panels welded in. Need to clean up bottom of truck and paint it next.

Finished painting. The exterior still needs a Mat clear coat at some point. Started installing gas tank. Cut lower frame rails and moved cross member to the rear. I am going to hang the tank with stainless steel straps so it can be serviced without pulling bed.

Cleaned, prepped and painted remaining part of frame. Installed cab which is some welcome progress. Need to install front clip and bed to get everything aligned to drill front cab mount holes.

Mustang 22 gallon fuel tank installed with stainless steel straps. I wanted tank serviceable without having to remove bed so it tucks up tight to bottom of frame.
