F1 and f100 suspension

Post by Dutch »

I was wondering the differences or similarities in suspension between the 2wd 1957-59 fridges and the 2wd 1967-72 truck.

One piece front axle before '65, twin I Beam then. Frames were different as early trucks had leaf springs, and no crossmember, so motor mounting changed as well in '65. Brakes also changed considerably, single acting front wheel cylinders in earlier trucks, larger drums in '68.
