I have a 1967 F100 4 x 4 shortbed that I'm looking to replace the rear leaf springs on. They are original, sag a bit, but really don't do well with a load.
Question is, currently on the truck are the "optional" 9 leaf 1650# single stage springs (opposed to the 6 spring 1250# capacity), and would like to replace them with the same.
The only 9 leaf 1967 ford springs I see say 2wd, not 4wd.
Are they the same? Measurements seem to be the same, just not sure what the difference is?

If the width and length are the same , check from the front eye to the center bolt.
Maybe the 4WD has more arch .
I would think they'd work.
You can always take them apart and add a leaf or two.
Nice looking truck. My uncle had a 68 he bought new , it looked just like that.

Here is a page from the '71 salesmans binder. by then they had flex o matic springs which were not used in '67, however they state that 9 leaf springs are single stage, others are progressive. If you read the text, you can identify the two types and compare. It may not help, but here it is anyway.
'67 springs are generally only swappable with earlier trucks, as flex o matic was introduced in '68.You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Hope you can update us if the 2WD leaf springs would work. My friend is trading his Wrangler JK for a F100 4x4 and a tractor. The truck is well-maintained bit sagging when loaded. The shocks and steel wheels for the Jeep arrived so we can deliver her to the new owner this weekend and see how the bad the springs on the T100.

The 2 WD springs will not work on the 4wd. The eye bolt on the 2WD is 9/16" and on the 4wd is 5/8".
I ended up getting therm custom made at Eaton springs. They were pricey, but came out excellent and fit perfectly.
