Radio Delete plate color - 1968

Post by youngbodean70F250 »

Does anyone know what color a Radio Delete plate cover would be for 1967-72? I have a 1968, and I just picked up a black delete plate, but not sure if it is supposed to match the factory color of the interior or dash or what.

The metal of the interior (dash panel, doors, etc) is the green color of my truck, but the dash pad, floor and seat are all factory black.

Thanks for any info!!

Thanks! Too late though, I painted it satin black and installed it. Was wondering if the raised letters and surrounding trim were silver (sanded down).
