thanks for the good info Kaylee. Now it's time to open up that rear end and see what I've got.

If you go the third member EBAY route. Make sure you get the right spline. Your choices on a 9" are going to be 31 spline or 28 spline. Yours is probally 28 unless someone has changed it. Easy to check. Just pull one of the axles and count the splines on the end of it. A clutch pack is about 70 dollars.

You can tell what ratio you have by counting the teeth on the ring and pinion gear. Then divide the number of teeth on the ring by the number on the pinion gear.
