shoulder belts??
in my 1970 and most others ive seen in the yards, there is a rubber plug that hides a threaded hole. i want to install shoulder belts. was this an option in these trucks?? If so what year truck's seatbelt setup will fit?

Re: shoulder belts??
Do a search here, this topic has been discussed many times, with pictures posted. In short, yes they were available, but they're pretty rare. If you want to install a 3-point system, you can either adapt something from a later model or get an aftermarket setup like that from Juliano's (on the Links page).thedel wrote:in my 1970 and most others ive seen in the yards, there is a rubber plug that hides a threaded hole. i want to install shoulder belts. was this an option in these trucks?? re: shoulder belts??
I use the GM truck shoulder belts in my truck(74 ta 86) they bolt right in after drilling one extra hole in the floor. But I pick that GM sticker of the seat belt latch so no one knows ![Shhh :shh:](./images/smilies/icon_shhh.gif)
