Better steering box?

Post by mustango »

The steering box in my LB '71 f-100 2wd is leaking. If I'm going to replace it is there a better power box, different year, out there I could use instead?

I got a replacement steering box for my '73 E200 at CarSteeringWholesale in San Diego. Easy to deal with and prices not too bad.

Thank's Kieth. Is the newer box a faster ratio?

I don't believe so....but then again I guess I never compared them that closely to find out.
