Tapping for 3 point belts
I have my new 3 point seat belt setup, but I need to tap the hole on the
"B" pillar for the third point. I've never tapped a hole or anything like that. How do I do this?
Thanks,
Matt

re: Tapping for 3 point belts
There isn't a threaded insert for one I thought all trucks had the insert, it just has a cover over it. My 67 built in 66 with no options even has it. Did some not even come with the insert?

Interesting! I've never see a truck which didn't have the threaded insert.

Damn, Matt, that's not what I call an unqualified endorsement!!!They work and are not terribly uncomfortable so I suppose it was a success.

Some of the bolts are the self threaders and will cut the threads for you

re: Tapping for 3 point belts
I know the inserts on mine are threaded. Because there's a broken bolt in one of them!
